The first step, once you have created your Worksible account, is to complete and update your profile to highlight your skills and increase your chances of getting projects. To do this:

  1. Click on your profile picture, located in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. From the drop-down menu, select “View profile” to access your profile editing.

In this section you will find several areas that you can customize:

Once in this section, you will find several sections. On the left, you will see your profile picture with your name and an option that says “Edit”.

By clicking on it you will be able to edit your basic information:

  1. Profile picture.

  2. Title.

  3. Language.

  4. Country.

  5. City.

  6. Hourly rate.

  7. Skills.

On the right side, you will find a video tutorial that explains how to improve your profile and below you will have the option to fill in 3 key points:

  1. Portfolio.

  2. Biography.

  3. Experience.

  4. Education.

  1. Create Your Portfolio

This step is crucial for showcasing your previous work and highlighting your skills and experience to potential clients. Here’s how to add a project to your portfolio:

1. Project title:

  • Write a title for the project. The title should be concise and no longer than 25 characters.

2. Short description:

  • Write a detailed description of the project. Include information about the challenges faced, the solutions implemented and the results obtained. This section allows clients to better understand your work process and the skills you applied.

3. Link to the project:

  • Optionally, you can add the link to your project so that clients can visit it directly.

4. Skills:

  • Add all the skills relevant to your specialty. This allows clients to find your profile more easily.

5. Add images:

  • Upload images related to the project. You can add up to six images showing different aspects of the project.

  • Click “Add Image” to upload photos from your device. Make sure the images are high quality and represent your work well.

2. Add Your Professional Experience

This step allows you to add details about your past and present work experience, which is crucial for businesses to see your professional background and the skills you have developed.

1. Job title:

  • Add the position in which you worked or currently work.

2. Company Name:

  • Enter the name of the company.

3. Description:

  • Describe briefly what your duties were.

4. Start and end dates:

  • Start: Select the month and year you started this position.

  • End: Select the month and year you finished this position. If you are still in the position, this field is not required if you checked the current status box.

3. Your Educational Background

Here, you can add details about your academic background, which is essential for businesses to understand your educational background and the skills you have acquired.

1. Title:

  • Enter the name of the degree or certificate you obtained or are obtaining from that institution.

2. Educational entity:

  • Enter the name of the educational institution where you attended or are currently attending.

3. Description:

  • Describe what you trained in.

4. Start and end dates:

  • Start: Select the month and year in which you began your studies.

  • Completion: Select the month and year you finished or expect to finish your studies. If you have not yet finished and checked the current status box, this field is not required.


Taking the time to complete these sections significantly increases your chances of attracting projects that align with your skills and professional goals.

Don’t underestimate the power of a complete and well-structured profile.
